Coburg Market Application

Rules and Regulations for 2025 Coburg Market (PLEASE READ AS MOST HAVE CHANGED)

  1. Absolutely no vehicles will be allowed within the grounds of pavilion park. This includes but is not limited to any grassy areas, sidewalks, the gravel surrounding the new restrooms on the south side of the park, or within any areas clearly blocked by street barriers or cones. Anyone driving their vehicle into the park risks being banned from future participation of all Coburg Main Street Events and a fine of up to $5000.

  2. Mckenzie Street will be open this year. Because we have a new restroom in Coburg that is ADA compliant, we need to make sure that our handicap parking is available and easily accessible to those who need it. That means that we have to leave this street open during concerts.

  3. We will be able to accommodate food trucks and retail trucks. We will be able to put food trucks (that don’t compete with local restaurants) and retail trucks in a specific area. This opens up our market to new vendors that we haven’t been able to have before. If you have a Food Truck or a Retail Truck we have specific spaces available for you and are limited to a max of 3 per concert. Please reach out to Megan Dompe directly to get signed up for them! coburgmainstreet@gmail.com

  4. There will be no weekly maps sent out. Spaces will only be assigned if you sign up for all 7 weeks. Otherwise our 10x10 in park spaces are first come first serve. This is a capacity issue. With the amount of cancellations and no shows we have received in the past two years, we can no longer create a weekly map for the vendors. One map will be released the first week of concerts in the park and that will be permanent for the whole series.

  5. Bring a rolling cart, furniture mover, a helper, or a hand truck for loading and unloading. Given our limitations for vehicles in the park, loading and unloading is going to be tricker for the 2024 season. You may have to haul in your goods from a short distance so be prepared. Harrison Street will be closing at 4:00PM. There are 3 spaces along Mckenzie that will be reserved and 3 spaces next to the restroom on Harrison we can use for a loading area.

  6. After you unload your vehicle, please move your car from the loading zones. This will allow other vendors to move in without causing traffic issues on streets that are still open. When you arrive, quickly unload your goods, and move your car before you set up your booth.

  7. You can set up your market booths much earlier in the day. Due to all the changes happening to the park, our spaces being first come/first serve, and our lack of loading and unloading areas, you may set up your booth earlier in the day.

  8. All Market vendors must pay for their booths in advance and online at least 24 hours before the market. There will be no refunds or transfers from week to week. This is to make sure we don’t sell more spaces than we have room for and to keep the market full. Unfortunately there were incidences when vendors no showed on weeks we sold out and other vendors were not able to come who wanted to. We want to provide every opportunity for vendors to show if they can.

  9. If you can’t make it to a week you signed up for, you can sell your space to another vendor. However, you assume all responsibility for said vendor. We totally understand that you may want to sell your space to another vendor if you can’t make it or your plans change. But, we will not be involved in collecting funds from the new vendor or refunding you. You assume all responsibility for that vendor as technically you are still the vendor we have on file.

  10. As in all years past this market is specific for local growers, makers, coburg retail, and Coburg community organizations. Will you see larger businesses that are not makers, growers, and Coburg community organizations? Yes. But they are sponsors of the event. The only way to have a booth outside of these categories is to be sponsoring Concerts in the Park. This special low rate we offer for our market/concerts in the park is for these type of businesses only. If it is a question as to whether you qualify, please reach out!

  11. You must sign up with us to sell in the park. You can’t just show up to sell. You can’t set up a booth to sell anywhere in Coburg without proper permitting (private or public property). When you sign up for this event with Coburg Main Street, we essentially serve as the temporary permit for you to sell. If you aren’t signed up for our market, you are selling illegally.

All applications and payment MUST be submitted online. No physical payment or applications will be accepted via mail service or in person
